Even if Gen 5 may not be the best mechanically, it’s still my favorite if only for the story and characters

That’s what everyone says, but for the life of me I can’t remember anything particularly different, interesting, or good about the story or characters.  Gen 5′s story was above par for the series, don’t get me wrong, but it did next to nothing to make up for the terrible changes in some mechanics for me.

That and Su/Mo’s story blows the stories of Gen 5 out of the water.
