Going through an extensive game backlog as I have since the start of the year, I always feel bad playing an older game that I know a lot of people love and finding it super difficult to get in to or defend.  It happens most often with early entries in series that I didn’t play until several entries in.

Case in point, Dead Rising.  First one I played was 3, and I really liked it.  Going to the first game in the series and the gameplay is a clunky mess.  There are some neat polish mechanics in the world, but the game itself plays like a mess in comparison to what comes later.  Oh well, just have to push through.
