  • Headcannon: Can unicorns replicate the mimicking powers of a changeling, albeit briefly and with a considerably higher energy output?
    arkadarp

A changeling’s shape changing is one part illusion, one part acting, and one part reconstruction.  A unicorn can perform a glamour to mask their features or create faux wings or other such alterations, but they can’t change their form to the extent that a changeling can.
It could be possible for a unicorn to take on all aspects of another creature, but it would be incredibly brief and incredibly taxing, thereby making the effort largely wasteful.
