Headcannon: nymphs love to nibble on things, like when that one hung onto papi's ear. thanks to chitin it doesn't hurt thankfully, but that doesn't stop nymphs from nibbling on hooves when they get close.

Nymphs are curious by nature, and early in their lives have trouble seeking answers outside of strictly physical means.  As such, nibbling is a very common means of discovering what can and cannot be eaten, and of playing.  Due to a changeling’s chitinous hide, there is very rarely any pain from a nymph’s nibbles.
