Just a super messy, quick sketch mockup of a thing. Not a dragon per se, but a dragonkin creature from a side project being worked on right now. A Mepian Sand Drake, aka the mole drake.

Super quick concept sketch of a lesser drake idea.
Polar sea drake, diet consists primarily of seals, small whales and fish. Capable of short periods of time on land when moving across ice floes, it spends the majority of its time in the water. Thick layers of blubber serve to cushion its organs and keep the drake warm in its frigid habitat. Like all members of the dragon family it is extremely hardy and warm-blooded, but is not a true dragon and lacks the ability to breathe fire.

Not all cowponies have extreme proportions, nor are all too confident. Earth ponies turned cowpony have their horns placed above their ears, and many tend to grow longer horns than those developed by their unicorn-cowpony kin. Coats are generally more uniform in color than other subspecies of cowpony, but a flare over the nose, or a large patch over the back or belly are very common.

Quick concept sketch of a grown Sweetie Belle cowpony. Unicorns turned cowponies develop mottled spots and their horns are generally curved and on the forehead above the eyes.
