It’s pro-choice, having the ability to choose whether abortion is right or not.  You can be and incredibly religious and devout person, and think that abortion is morally wrong, but you can still be pro-choice.  On the surface the debate talks about abortion, but that’s not the case.  It’s control vs. choice, and sadly the political party most often associated with small government and as little government control as possible is the one that advocates enforcing regulations on the bodies of women.

I don’t care if you’re pro-life.  If you believe abortion is wrong, then that’s fine, that’s great, it means you have an opinion that you support.  What’s not great is enforcing your opinion on others that don’t want or like it.  The way I see it, that’s what the debate is: choice vs. control.
